How to send your Zippo Windproof lighter for repair:
· Remove the inside unit from the lighter and allow the fuel to evaporate for two or three days.
· Replace the inside unit in the lighter case.
· Package lighter securely in an over sized box or padded shipping bag (large packages are less likely to be lost.)
· Multiple lighters may be sent in one package.
· Include your name, address, telephone number and email address on a note inside the package.

Zippo Repair Clinic performs excellent repairs at no charge. Please do not attempt to perform repairs yourself, as it could damage the lighter beyond repair.
Do not affix materials to the lighter as they could damage the finish. Examples include Address labels, Tape, Rubber bands or pins.
Please do not attempt to re-attach emblems yourself, as the surface of the lighter may be further damaged in an attempt to remove the glue.
Zippo will send you an acknowledgment of our receipt of your repair, if you include your email address
If you wish to return a non-defective product that you purchased from Zippo Lighter Products a 25% Restocking fee will apply.
Any item may be returned within 30 days from the sale date. Items which have been used however, such as being filled with lighter fluid or having the orange warning seal removed cannot be returned. Any item being returned must be in 100% re saleable condition.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Please allow 1-2 weeks for processing.
- Returns sent COD will not be accepted. Returns must be send prepaid.
- IMPORTANT: All returns must go through our Return Authorization process.
- To get an RA number, please E-mail us. We will send you an RA number, which will need to be printed clearly on the outside of the package being returned, and the address to send the returned item to.
- Any returned package that does not have an RA number will be returned to sender.

Custom Engraving:
We offer Custom Engraving at a cost of $6.99 on almost all of our Zippo lighters except Brass and Matte Colors.

Lighters will always be engraved on the front unless the lighter is decorated on the front. In these cases the lighter will be engraved on the back.

Be sure to use correct capitalization and double-check spelling for all words. We will personalize all text exactly as entered in the "Engraving line" box on the checkout page.

Engraving may not appear exactly as requested, in terms of number of characters. Therefore, we reserve the right to adjust the font size to fit properly on the engraved area.

Please add an extra two days to ship, for the engraving to be completed.
Returns Policy on Custom Orders:
Special orders and personalized items can not be exchanged or refunded. Changes cannot be made on personalized items after completion. Sales of personalized / engraved items are Final. There are absolutely No Exceptions.

Shipping:
At this time, we ship to the continental United States, Canada, Australia, Italy, Poland, Bahrain and the UK only. All others should email us for quotes or questions regarding shipping rates prior to making your purchase.
Our flat shipping cost of $4.99 is for the continuous United States of America on lighters only. We ship your order by USPS. The shipping time with this method is usually 2 to 3 business days.
Please note that there is no tracking information with USPS Mail, however this is the only method to choose if you are shipping to a PO Box.
We can also ship your order by Federal Express ground in the USA, if you choose. Simply select FedEx at checkout. Flat rate FedEx ground for a lighter is $8.99.
FedEx 2nd. Day is also available at $14.99
Federal Express is a little more expensive but your shipment will be traceable.
You may also select "Signature Required" on delivery. This will ensure that your order is accepted by someone at the delivery address. Your order will not be left without a signature. (USA only)
The 2nd. and the 3rd. item is shipped at $1.00 each, to the same address, same order.
Any additional items are shipped free of charge, to the same address, same order.
Gift Sets:
Due to the larger size and additional weight of a gift set, there is an additional Shipping charge of $3.00
As all of the shipping companies are now adding this surcharge to the larger packages, we are forced to do the same due to our low wholesale pricing markup.
International Orders:
Orders to Canada have an additional cost of $8.24 due to the higher cost of shipping.
Orders to the UK, Bahrain, Poland and Italy have an additional cost due to the much higher cost of international shipping.
- USPS additional shipping to the UK is $8.49 and FedEx additional shipping is $12.89
- USPS additional shipping to Italy is $8.49 and FedEx additional shipping is $14.89
- USPS additional shipping to Australia, Poland and Bahrain is $8.49
These costs are exactly what we pay to ship the product to you.
We are unable to ship orders containing lighter fluid by USPS or to addresses outside of the United States. This includes Zippo lighter fluid or Zippo Multi-Purpose Lighters (Zippo MPL).
All orders containing Lighter Fluid or Zippo Multi-Purpose Lighters (Zippo MPL) must be shipped FedEx ground.
Please keep in mind that all International buyers are responsible for any and all duties, taxes and customs brokerage charges that may be associated with their purchase.
Our warehouse and order offices are located in one facility, we can therefore ship your orders within 24 hours. (Tuesday through Friday; Monday orders are processed on Tuesday due to high volume incurred over the weekend.)
Please allow 7-10 days for delivery. Although average delivery time is typically less than 5-days after your order is completed, we ask that you allow additional time to compensate for any slowdowns within the postal service due to storms. Once we ship your order, exact delivery times are out of our hands.
We have daily a pick-up account, so we can offer you the lowest shipping costs available. We do not inflate our shipping rates; you pay what we pay.
There is however, a $2.50 Small Order Handling Fee applied to all orders under $15. This is to help offset the high cost of handling and packaging of small orders.
Please allow extra time for international shipping, due to Customs delays. Remember GST, PST and customs fees may be applied to your purchase upon delivery. Once we have shipped your order, we have no further control of it.
SHIPPING METHOD:
Zippo Lighter Products will normally ship using the shipping method selected. There are certain instances where we will use another shipping method than the method chosen by the customer.
An example of this would be when the customer selects UPS as the shipping method but provides a PO Box. In this instance we will change the shipping method to USPS. If lighter fluid is ordered but USPS is selected as the shipper, then the order will be shipped by UPS / FedEx.
The ultimate decision concerning shipping method shall be the sole judgement of Zippo Lighter Products. If additional charges are incurred when the shipping methods must be changed, all additional charges will be automatically charged to the total cost of the order.
Zippo Lighter Products is not responsible for any delay in shipping by any carrier.
CREDIT CARD CHARGEBACKS:
A $35 administrative fee will be charged on all credit card charge backs found in error. Your Bank Statement will show a payment to First Aid Kit Products, our parent company
Quite frankly it takes time and resources to research credit card charge backs so please be sure of your charge back before submitting it. If the charge back has already occurred by the time we research it, the card will be charged again for the original purchase plus the $35 administrative fee.
Inventory:
We make every effort to ensure that all of the items that we have listed are available, however we deal in fast moving merchandise, so inventory quantities change daily. This may put an item temporarily out of stock. In this event you have the option to wait or receive a full refund.
